Alana Philcox

Sarah M. and I have been friends for 30 years. She actually introduced me to my husband, and is responsible for my moving to Long Island! Sarah is a dedicated hard worker, so when my business began expanding I knew I needed her on my team.

Sarah had an amazing destination wedding in Punta Cana on May 11, 2012. She lives in East Setauket with her husband and 2 year old daughter. She a nutritionist and is a lactation consultant.

Sarah M. officiates weddings on Long Island, Westchester, and Putnam.

In 2014 Westchester Magazine pegged John as the "Westchester Wonderkind."  Since his graduation from Fairfield University in 2008 he has become a rising star in the business world. He is a professional public speaker, marketing coordinator, ballroom dancer, and leader in the field of social media. What his resume does not tell you though is he is charismatic, charming, and a genuinely caring individual.

John and my brother have been best friends for two decades. So when I heard John wanted to become a wedding officiant, I knew he would be a perfect fit for my couples.

John lives in Stamford, Connecticut and is currently planning for his own wedding this fall!

John performs weddings in Connecticut, Westchester, Putnam, and Rockland.

About Me

If you inquire about a wedding date/time that I am already personally booked for, I will refer to one of my amazing associates.  My associates and I work very closely together. My associate and I would both meet with you and your fiance. I would then write your ceremony and my associate would perform it.

I have personally trained each of my associates to ensure they provide couples with the highest level ceremony experience possible.

Alana and I met while teaching at Eastport South Manor H.S in 2013.  She is personable and a  great public speaker. When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I asked her take over my weddings while I went out on a 2 week maternity leave. (Don't worry we notified the couples 6 months in advance, and I am done having children).  The couples loved Alana so much that I made her an associate.

Alana was married at the East Wind on St. Patrick's Day 2011 (while she was sick with the flu). Alana lives in Wading River with her husband and 3 year old daughter. In the summer she lifeguards at Robert Moses and during the school year she is an English teacher at Wading River.

I love watching wishes come true.  As an inter-faith ordained minister,

(NY ID number 1630387), it is my great pleasure to watch as the dreams of my couples unfold.

For ten years, I worked as a special education teacher, specializing in children and teens with emotional issues.  When I began officiating weddings in 2012, I had no idea how it would change my life.  Since then, I have met so many wonderful couples, many whom I now call friends.  I have heard amazing, heartwarming, and hysterical stories from couples that make my job never feel like work.  Since my first wedding, I have had the pleasure of officiating over 300 ceremonies.  I have also been featured on television shows and radio, and have worked alongside celebrity wedding planners. I have been honored by winning The Knot's Best Officiant on Long Island and Wedding Wires' Couples Choice Award 2017-2014.  In 2017 I was inducted into The Knot's Hall of Fame!

These great honors and wonderful couples have allowed me to expand my business.  I have welcomed aboard three awesome associates.  As of July 2014,  I have been able to leave the field of teaching, and devote myself as full time officiant!

On August 3, 2012 my own wish came true, when I married my husband, Jimmy, at The Candlewood Inn in Connecticut.  The greatest blessing though has been our two sons whom we absolutely adore.  We live on Long Island with our three dogs.
