There should be a sixth star. Sarah was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls during the months and weeks and even the day of the wedding to coordinate our big day. She is friendly and hardworking and together, we achieved a dream ceremony. She was able to splice together our input with her own creativity to create the perfect ceremony that had our audience in tears at one point, laughter at another...it was certainly a pleasurable experience. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch wedding officiant.

From the moment my fiancé and I met Sarah via FaceTime, we knew we had made the perfect decision to have Sarah be a part of our day. Sarah truly wrote the most amazing love story about us. we felt so comfortable talking to Sarah and opening up about our lives together. Sarah helped us through the ceremony planning process and even sent us our entire ceremony weeks in advance for us to proof read and eliminate anything we didn't like. Beautiful customized ceremony

The ceremony Rev. Sarah performed for my son and his lovely bride was just beautiful. She personalized it and told the audience the story of their love. It was so touching. In addition to the customized ceremony Rev. Sarah was very well spoken and could be heard by all. Myother son is hard of hearing and that was important to me that he could hear her. I can't say enough good things about her professionalism and the beautiful job she did. Our family will certainly be using her again for a christening ceremony. Thank you Rev. Sarah, you did a beautiful job.

Amazing Ceremony

It was truly a great honor for us to use Rev. Sarah Gutmann for our wedding this past September at Gurneys Inn. Prior to our wedding we met Sarah in May at a Starbucks and felt comfortable with her from the first moment. It was easy to talk to her and let her know what type of couple my husband and I are. She was able to create a love story that truly showed the type of couple we are. Many of our friends and family stated how perfectly she did this, and many who never cry at weddings did because of her ceremony. Sarah even brought humor into our ceremony as well, right at the beginning she found out about a bet we all had going and brought it in. She makes everything very personalized which is why we would recommend her to anyone we know. We would definitely use her again if we renew our vows in the future. She has a great personality and a big heart; which is seen through her work. You will not be disappointed!

Sarah was amazing! From the first time we set up a FaceTime appointment with her we knew that we wanted her to marry us. It was the best choice, because she put together a perfect ceremony. Sarah was always available to answer all of my questions and made planning one of the most important parts of the wedding the least stressful part! We received so many compliments from guests about how personalized and beautiful our ceremony was. If you are looking for someone who will listen to exactly what you want and always be available, choose Sarah as your wedding officiant!

We both loved our ceremony!! It was EXACTLY what we wanted. We also had sooo much great feedback from family and friends who thought it was very special too. Throughout the year after we booked Sarah, we were in touch periodically, catching up on what was going on in our lives. I really felt like by the time the wedding came around, she really knew us, and I knew her. I'll always recommend Sarah highly when my friends ask for help finding an officiant!

About 4 months before our wedding, I had gone onto theknot.com and I had started to look for an officiant to marry us. After some research, I found Sarah Gutmann and really liked her reviews. When I emailed her, she emailed me back pretty quickly (I believe the same day) andimmediately I found her to be pleasant and she seemed very interested in meeting with me and my fiance at the time. Upon meeting her, my fiance (now husband) and I really liked her. We both felt a great connection with her and immediately we felt comfortable with her. We both found her to be very sweet, kind, and caring. She's down to earth and very easy to talk to and easy going. She showed a lot of interest in getting to know us and our story. She provided us with really great ideas for our ceremony whilst giving us the freedom to incorporate ideas and visions that we had ourselves. She also worked well around our budget. After meeting with her, She had kept in touch with me via email and had sent parts of the ceremony and different versions of the vows, ring exchange, ect for me and my husband to choose from. My husband and I basically designed our ceremony as we liked it and emailed her what we liked. With that, She wrote up this incredibly beautiful ceremony that started with our love story and had all the parts that we liked and shared with her. It was truly a beautiful ceremony. Everyone complemented the officiant and the ceremony during the wedding and even weeks after, no exaggeration! My husband and I would absolutely recommend Sarah to all our friends and family if they ever wish to marry. She was truly awesome! :)

Amazing Officiant

Sarah was the officiant of our wedding and was absolutely amazing. From the moment we met her she was interested in our story, and our love. She sent us so much information and ideas for our ceremony that we easily created a ceremony that was perfect and represented not only our love but our personalities. I think our favorite part was the love story she wrote for us. We filled out questionnaires separately and sent them to Sarah and then facetimed with her after we sent them. Facetiming was Sarah's idea and saved us a lot of time and stress as we live in NYC and the wedding was on Long Island. She suggested the facetime meeting to which we happily obliged and sat on the couch in our pjs talking about our dream ceremony. A few days before the wedding she sent us the love story that she wrote for our ceremony and after reading it I burst into tears. I looked at my fiancé and said that she couldn't have wrote a more perfect love story. Now a month later and our guests are still raving that it was the best ceremony they have been to because it was so personal, funny and captured the journey that my husband and I have been on for the last few years. Sarah was incredibly easy to work with, and always available to talk, email, facetime which was a very nice change from many of our other vendors. She was so easy to work with and always open to our crazy ideas and suggestions. I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone who wants a personal, intimate ceremony and doesn't want to hear the same letter to the Corinthians reading that you hear at every wedding. She has great ideas and is willing to work with you to create the most amazing ceremony you could imagine.

We used Rev. Sarah Gutmann for our October 3 wedding at the Venetian Yacht Club. She was amazing! We had numerous email & video communication prior to the big day. She wrote a beautiful (and humorous, since that is what we wanted) love story for us that she read. She included all the things we wanted her to include and made it about us. Numerous people came up to us after the wedding and said that they felt like that was one of the best ceremonies they have seen because it was all about us. She made it very easy for us to choose what we wanted in our ceremony, including a sand ceremony that was perfect. She even had the option of videotaping it! I thought she did a great job and made our wedding day perfect!

My husband's sister got married a week before us so we were able to share tips and info… She met with Sarah and immediately recommended her after their first meeting. I understood immediately after meeting her - she's just that cool. She gets to know you as a couple throughlaughs and casual conversation, then she somehow writes a perfect love story out of that that's included in your ceremony. I was blown away when I read ours! She also gives you a hefty packet of amazing material to build your ceremony with. Our ceremony couldn't have been more perfect and true to us, and I'm so grateful she was part of our day. Highly, highly recommend!!

We are so thankful to have selected Rev. Sarah to officiate our wedding! She was referred to us when our original officiant cancelled and we are lucky to have her. She was very helpful in the planning of the ceremony and was always available to assist and provide guidance on our vows whenever needed. She wrote a beautiful story about us to tell at the ceremony that was heartfelt, funny, and personal. We asked that we not get to see it before the ceremony so that it would be a surprise. Sarah did not disappoint. Everyone in attendance raved about the ceremony and how beautiful it was. We got more compliments on that than the reception haha. We are truly grateful for have been giving the opportunity to meet Sarah and to have her officiate our special day. I am not surprised to learn that she was nominated for an award, she definitely deserves it!!!!

Sarah was beyond amazing! She brought out the best in our ceremony, and really captured the story between myself and my husband. There were laughter, tears, and beyond all, such loving feelings that she brought out through words. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an Officiant, ten times over! Sarah was great to work with, from the beginning her personality was so easy to connect with it made our "get to know you" phone call so comfortable! I was put completely at ease about Sarah capturing Elliot's and my relationship when we read the first draft of the ceremony. The ceremony was such a breeze knowing Sarah truly captured who were are individually and as a couple, all of our family and friends loved her! I would absolutely recommend using Sarah to any bride to be, there's many details that can easily feel overwhelming for the big day but Sarah made sure that the ceremony wasn't something to worry about.

When we began to plan our Wedding just three weeks prior to the date for reasons quite personal to us, we reached out to Sarah. She was absolutely a pleasure to work with from the moment we began speaking until after the Ceremony was over. What could have been a stressful and difficult planning experience with our time constraints turned out to be an absolute pleasure because of Sarah! She was so quick to respond every time we needed anything, and she genuinely cared about our "Love Story". When we met with her to go over our story it was such an enjoyable experience, we decided to continue to go over what we love about each other regularly privately. :) Before the Ceremony began, she came in to the room where the Wedding party was trying to get organized and took over with getting everyone together. We did not have time for a rehearsal prior (and I don't know too much about weddings myself!), and she did a phenomenal job with such a quick line up to get us out there as we were running a few minutes behind. I can't stress enough how glad we are that we found Sarah to assist us with planning what will certainly be an unforgettable Wedding Day. We highly recommend Sarah!!!
